At Creative Learning and Play we ensure that our children are not only learning and cared for but are also safe and respected during every moment of their time with us. Our educators create learning environments where our children can develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
HEALTH, WELLBEING AND POSITIVE IDENTITY
Following the Early Year’s Learning Framework (EYLF), which views children as competent learners and global citizens with rights, as reflected in our commitment to the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. We strive to successfully implement the National Quality Framework (NQF) to the highest standards by establishing and maintaining clean and well-resourced environments that inspire curiosity and inquiry. Our menus incorporate nutritious foods that meet the recommended daily needs of children, and all medical and cultural needs are planned for.
OUR CURRICULUM AND PROGRAM
We are a Reggio-Emilia inspired center where we believe the environment is the third teacher and children have the freedom to choose their own experiences and make decisions for themselves. We encourage positive relationships between educators, children, and families so that our children feel valued and unique and learn the basic skills of life through inclusive and purposeful learning experiences and discussions. Our program is child-initiated and designed to cater the needs and interests of our children and their varying levels of development, whilst having the flexibility to be spontaneous!
SUSTAINABILITY
The service is committed to sustainable practices within the service such as recycling energy efficiency and water conservation which are embedded into the daily routines and practice of service. our curriculum will engage children in planned experiences that engage them in appropriate sustainability practices within the service, educators will also provide children with access to information about the environment and the impact of human activities into the environment.
